What do I do when a student completes the course to remove them from our billing?

All of our students do not finish at the same time. Some of them require extensions to the 3-month limit for class. How do I "close out" the students who finish so they are no longer in our count? I have been Deactivating them, but I don't know if that is correct.

I have been trying to figure this out for some time and have actually used the link you sent. I need some clarification.

Is there an advantage in concluding students rather than deactivating them? From my understanding (we are a VERY small school) we pay for X number of seats altogether, so I want to keep a rotation going as students complete the course.
