Today I was trying to keep up with my work in high school and I realized that they don't show you the work they give this exact day
It can depend on the teacher and how they organize their page in terms of individual classes, but overall, what I like to do is to switch the dashboard to list view. This way, it displays all your classes assignments for the day in one section, and you can scroll up and down for past assignments and future planned ones.
Beyond the great tip @V0id-Ch1cken gave, look to see if your teacher has the Syllabus visible. It should be found in the same menu list as Home, Modules, Assignments, etc. That will show you a running list of assignments, and the left column shows the date it is due. This view is only course by course and would not show all courses like the List view for Dashboard.
Also consider Calendar view on your left menu. You should be able to find your assignments there.
