Is there anyone that can show me how to use canvas in person? I just don't understand no matter how much I read. I guess I am more of a hands on learner.

Another option is to contact your local technical support team to see what kinds of options are available to help you learn Canvas, especially if there is a computer lab on campus. The Instructure Community is a great place to connect with other Canvas users, but your local support team's vigilance does not extend to this space.
