Change primary email

I need to change my primary email for Canvas, but nothing seems to be working. I don't use my former email anymore so it's pointless. Is there any way to change this?

Hi @Minak,

First, you'd need to add the new email address to your Canvas profile: How do I add an additional email address as a contact method in Canvas?

Then you'd want to set the set the newly added email as the default: How do I change my default email address in my user account?

Please note that your institution may restrict your ability to do these steps. If these options don't appear for you, you'll need to work with your institutional help desk to make the change.
