I was trying to sent an assignment as an editable Google Doc for students so that it made a copy for each student. However, some logged in before the document was completely updated and now they are missing information on thier assignment. How can I change it so that they have the updated Google Doc?

In my experience, once I have added a file to a Google Assignment in Canvas, I cannot change the file. Also, once students have opened the document and created their own copy, there is not a way to update their copy from the assignment.
One suggestion for the future would be to keep the assignment unpublished until everything is set up the way you would like it. That way students won't be able to access the assignment and file(s) before they are ready.

I am just curiousas to why there is not a field to enter a description for an outcome at the account level? Or at least edit the rating when you attach/link an account level outcome to a rubric. When you create a new criterion for a rubric, you enter a decription for a rating, but for an account level outcome.
