Export the Groups from old course site that has already ended the term, to New and Current course si

I have a class with the same students from the previous course site. Since there are more than 60-80 students, I would like to use the groups from the old course site, which has already ended, and simply upload them to the new, current course site. However, the old course site no longer shows any option to download the roster. Is there a workaround for this?

Hey @NSTPEDTECH!

In my experience, Groups and Group Sets are course specific and cannot be exported or copied to another course. Here is a link to a Community guide that discusses importing groups into a group set in the current course, but I don't think this is what you are looking for: How do I import groups in a group set?

If someone else in the Community knows of a way to do this, hopefully they will chime in.
