Hi! In the Course settings I uploaded a picture. It looks perfect. But when I go to Dashboard it's upside down instead. How can I edit the Dashboard picture to rotate it? Is there anything else I can do?
Hi @JenniiferPerez ,
Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!
When it comes to uploading a course image (for the dashboard), Canvas doesn't really provide you with a feature to rotate the image, in fact this seems like an engineering issue on their end.
The only possible solution I'd be able to provide you with myself would be to completely remove the course image, reload the page and then re-upload the image again, or try a different image. Have you by chance tried uploading a different image to see if it does the same thing? I wonder if the size of the image has something to do with this behavior.
If this issue keeps occurring, maybe it's worth reaching out to Canvas support, too?- Noah

The only factor that is new is that I am using the new feature where I can set a different…
Hi everyone, Is there anyway I can download all discussion posts, similar to downloading assignments? Thank you. Zehra
Could there be a feature added (or maybe there is something out there already) to limit not just the file EXTENSION but the file NAME as well? For example, instead of just requiring "XLSX" extension for JoeSmith-Assignment1.XLSX, we could require "*Assignment1.XLSX" for the filename. This would ensure that students submit…
Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
I have Canvas set to drop the lowest quiz score, however, my students can only barely tell that the grade text is slightly grey when dropped. Can it have a tag like the "missing" and "exempt" ones in the student gradebook?
