Is it possible to send messages to all people in a course using the "Inbox" / "Message" function that can include hyperlinks or formatted text?
If NOT, could that functionality be added?
Hello @KSchmerb,
While not obvious during the composing process when using the Canvas Inbox, text that is added that appears to be a link (e.g. https://www.google.com) will be converted to a clickable link when viewed from the Canvas Inbox or from the email notification that the user receives.
Yes, I do wish that more functionality (a limited version of the Rich Content Editor) existed for formatting messages in the Canvas Inbox and this is functionality that has previously been requested.

We are all familiar with the standard Course Calendar, where assignment due dates are automatically added. However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
The current placement of the "Submit" button creates a "slip" in user behavior where habit-clicking "Next" leads to an accidental final submission. I think Canvas could easily fix this by: Moving the Submit button away from the navigation buttons (maybe above the question instead of below it) and/or Adding a "Confirm…
