Orientation for student

Hi all!

For our Spring intake at our University, we’re thinking about making orientation materials available early, but we don’t want students to start too soon.

Is there a way in Canvas to release content on specific dates without manually publishing everything? Trying to save myself some time here!

Hi @EthanBradli,

This can be accomplished based on how you setup the course (its dates) and content within the course.

I would:

1. set the course to be opened "early"
2. design the course using a module layout
3. as you create the modules in the course, use the "Lock Until" option and add a date
