Receive an email notification when a student completes a quiz?

We are looking for a method for the instructors of a course to receive a notification (preferably via email) when a student submits a specific quiz in their course. I understand that course submission notifications can be turned on but that is not what we want at this time. 

Has anyone developed a "hack" to make this happen? I would love to hear from you!

Yes, it’s possible, though it’s not straightforward. You can utilize Canvas Live Data to capture quiz submissions, then set up an automation (please check out my post here: Automate Canvas with n8n) to check if a submission meets specific criteria (e.g., matching a name you specified). After that, you can trigger an email notification, etc.
