ps. I intentionally recreate my announcements each term. I do so as I want to personalize the announcement so it shows that I created it in the system and I want to be sure to set the Delayed Post dates exactly when I want them to be released. Doing so increases my confidence that students receive the notifications via their email. One 'trick' I use is to post images that are to appear in the announcements within my User files and not the course files. I also use the public embed code from Studio. Using these approaches ensures the images and video embeds aren't tied to the prior term course.
