When I export my grades as a csv file, they are delimited by semicolons. When I open the file in Excel it defaults to a comma as the delimiter and all the data is in the first cell. I need to change something so that they are in sync.
Hi @rmorrison2,
If you go to your Account menu, then click Settings, you should have an option at the bottom of the page to "use semicolons to separate fields in compatible spreadsheet exports." For me that option is off (red X icon) and I get commas, so I assume yours must currently be on (green checkmark). If you turn it off, I think you should get commas.
Let us know if this fixes things up for you!

Is having students read the textbook considered an assignment or an activity if there is no grade but a required date?
Hoping someone can explain for me. We're using pacing to avoid manually dating regular assignments each quarter, but the dates I see are based on when the course was instantiated, while students see dates based on when they were added to the course by [backend software I don't know anything about, presumably]. If I set…
Has anyone else had issues with an influx of duplicate users in Canvas?
