How does Teachers or administrators (not root admins) reassure that suspensions are in effect?
Is there any view were they can see that it is in effect? If not, what permission do they need to be able to see that?

our experience of this is that originally a student was either on the course roster (live) or not.
This was inconvenient, particularly in large classes, as it was difficult to track enrolment changes.
We now have "active" or "inactive" (which is a status not a state of student lethargy 😄 ) in roster/People.
