One of my students discovered that the "Reply To" option is not available for Discussions in my course. Students are not able to reply to each others' posts. How do I enable this functionality?
There was an update over the summer, listed here: Disallow Threaded Replies option in Discussions. When you go in to edit the discussion, do you see the option for "Disallow Threaded Replies" and if you can, are you able to uncheck it?
As Jeff mentioned you will want to make sure you have unchecked "disable threaded replies".
when students post their response to a discussion question, I am not able to see them via speedgrader. Also if they reply to a peer it does not show up under the students name so I am not able to track their participation in the discussion.

Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
