How can I export the entire discussion thread from the Discussion Board for use in class later?

Unfortunately, there is no option to download discussion threads in Canvas. You could try selecting and highlighting the test, righ-click on the highlighted text and select Print, but the content may not show the way you want.
I recommend submitting an idea to Canvas.
