I use Code.org to teach APCSP. Last week I saw this . Here is the link to the Guides.
My question is this - Is Canvas supporting this "Early Access"? This would be fantastic!
Hi @ddamschen,
While I don't know the specific answer for code.org, I can tell you that in general, Instructure (the makers of Canvas) does not really officially support many 3rd party integrations. They seem to perhaps semi-support Google and Microsoft integrations, but when following the integration standards, most of the coding and support of 3rd party tools will be done by the 3rd party themselves.
I know this isn't perhaps a complete answer, but I thought it may help a bit. If someone else has more specific info about code.org, I'm sure they'll reply here as well!

I'm trying to figure out whether Canvas Portfolio will work for me this year with my 11th graders. We are introducing a curriculum that has a portfolio component but does not specify the platform. I would like to try Evaluation Portfolios but am confused by the information in the guides. The Guide for Portfolio says Once…
I am setting up my courses for this year and I realized that when I opend the mastery-based gradebook, there is no color coding. When I open last years's course that had color-coding last time I opened it in the spring, it no longer has colors. The colors appear in the individual student view, but not in the all class view.
Hoping someone can explain for me. We're using pacing to avoid manually dating regular assignments each quarter, but the dates I see are based on when the course was instantiated, while students see dates based on when they were added to the course by [backend software I don't know anything about, presumably]. If I set…
Has anyone else had issues with an influx of duplicate users in Canvas? Ours is currently in the form of an email that already exists, becoming a new user - and not automatically merging with the user ID with the same email that also is linked to our SIS ID correctly as well. For example, user 1 is xyz@gmail.com without a…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
