I have been unable to stop student notifications for minor changes I make to assignments, modules etc. How do I stop the notifications? I am sure that I have not checked the box to notify students.
Hi there @MeredithRussell! Unfortunately, Canvas doesn't currently have the option for instructors to control what students get notified about in the course other than for editing Pages. Over the years, many folks have noted the need for this in all areas, as well as how the option to notify/not notify students when making changes to a page doesn't work properly. However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
