erCAPTCHA not showing

Some of my students are unable to register with Canvas using their smartphones because the reCAPTCHA is not displaying. PCs don't have this issue (if their pop-up blocker settings allow them).
This issue didn't seem to happen last year. Has something changed? e.g. Privacy settings?
Students tried using different browsers and downloading the mobile Canvas App but this did not work.

I don't have a screenshot (students' phones) but basically, the reCAPTCHA was not showing on the registration page so the register button was greyed out.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't know about the Prevent cross site tracking function in the iPhone. If I have any more students who are struggling to join Canvas using their iPhone then I will suggest this. If that happens I will post here to let you know it worked.

Most of the students who had this problem have resolved it by joining using their PC. But it would be much easier if they could just register on their iPhones without the problems. It's not a great way to start a course.

Without knowing more details this is going to be hard to troubleshoot.

However, my gut feeling is saying that something like Private Relay, VPN, or Proxy is affecting the re-CAPTCHA. These items should be turned OFF so that the re-CAPTCHA can work correctly.

I would also attempt to restart the phones and try again.

Is there a reason why these students can't register on a PC and then log in to Canvas through their phone?

Those are good ideas. I will ask the students when I see them again next week.

Interestingly, I had a different class registering with Canvas today and one of the students was easily able to register with the reCaptcha appearing on his phone.
I'm wondering if perhaps Canvas had a glitch yesterday. Alternatively, it could be an iPhone issue as I think the student today was using an Android phone. (Not 100% sure of that).

I have attached a screen capture of the problem when I tried to register using my own iPhone and had the same issue. Definitely no VPN operating.

Re- using a PC. The students are not required to use a PC on campus, however, I have suggested that they take this action. i.e., register on their PC's at home or elsewhere and then log in using the phone if they don't wish to bring their PC to class. I'm suggesting they bring their PC's anyway, as I'm using a lot of online content.
