How to connect turnitin assignment to canvas assignment on Free for Teacher account?

Hello,

I am trying to integrate turnitin with canvas assignments on my free for teacher accounts. The instructions for the new LTI 1.3 require an administrator to connect from the canvas side (https://help.turnitin.com/feedback-studio/canvas/lti13/administrator/getting-started/configuring-turnitin-canvas-hosted.htm)

With a free for teacher account, I do not have an administrator nor do I have the administrator page. How do I connect turnitin with the new LTI 1.3 to assignments in my canvas course?

Hi @MDono,

I don't believe you'll be able to connect Turnitin with the Free for Teacher Canvas version.  If you run your own open-course Canvas instance or use a paid Instructure-hosted instance, you'll have the administrative functionality needed to set up Turnitin either via LTI 1.3 or via the Canvas Plagiarism Framework.

I know this isn't the answer you were hoping to get, but I hope having the info does help you in some way.
