I'm not exactly sure what you mean that you can't get your quiz to move out of "Build" (assuming here you are using New Quizzes). Have you tried clearing your browser history/cache and then re-starting your browser?

I have been just clicking out of the quizzes after I build them in the new quiz builder tool. It saved all the work I did so far.
I went into the quiz builder tool in the free Canvas and in my school's Canvas and built quizzes just now, and clicking "Return" at the top of the screen got out of the new quiz builder in both of them. It's never worked before now.
