Is there a way for a teacher to view all the comments made to students in a class as a whole? Right now viewing comments made to students requires opening each assignment individually.

Thanks for posting this in the community! I am assuming you are asking about downloading the comments made in Speedgrader. (Correct me if I am wrong)
Currently, the only way to download comments from speedgrader is to do it on an individual basis as documented HERE. However, I did locate an idea that was submitted that would make this easier HERE.
I do see how this would be a useful feature for instructors.

It'd be nice to be able to limit auto-feedback to section so that when working on feedback in class, your feedback is given by actual classmates rather than students in different sections. This would make it so that the students could ask their classmates questions about the feedback in person!
I think it would be nice to have the option to make the WYSIWYG editor the full height (instead of a fixed position when you open the assignment editor). Then just have the editor tools stick to the top of the page as you scroll through the assignment. This would make is so that you don't have a tiny view to work with that…
Screen readers seem to read out the LaTex and not the equation.
Whenever possible, I prefer to have my students take in-class quizzes and tests on their laptops. But to make sure that they do it in the classroom, I've always put a password on the assessment and then given them the password. That way they can't take it somewhere else on their own (or somewhere else, not on their own).…
