where do i find the due dates and descriptions of all my assignments please?
Good morning, @KatherineTaylor ...
Hopefully your instructor has added assignment descriptions and due dates to the assignments in your course. If so, probably the easiest way to find that information is in the assignment itself. If your instructor has set up your course so that you access all content through your "Modules" screen, then you could click on an assignment name to see the due date near the top of the screen along with a description of what you are to do for the assignment. Due dates should also appear on the "Modules" index page (the page you see when you click on the "Modules" course navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen). You might also see due dates displayed on the right-hand side of your Canvas Dashboard. And, as another option, if your instructor has made the "Assignments" index page visible on your left-hand side course navigation, you may see due dates displayed there as well...again, all dependent on if your instructor has populated those due date fields with dates/times the assignments are due. I'll provide a video tutorial link for you that might help:

After using Canvas for a while, I picked up a small habit that’s saved me some last-minute stress with written submissions. Even when drafts are original, longer explanations and summaries tend to reuse common phrasing, especially in research-heavy assignments. Before submitting, I usually do a quick cleanup pass to reduce…

In Classic Quizzes, it is possible to display question-level feedback to students without manually grading an essay question on a quiz. Can this be enabled in New Quizzes? Use Case: This feature is vital for practice quizzes that include essay questions along with other question types. We mix essay questions with other…
