How do I find a Course ID? I am trying to redeem my Macmillan Learning for BIO 204 and it is asking for the Course ID.
Hello @taylbria
Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. You can find the Canvas course ID by looking in the URL or header. Go to your course and look at the web address bar. It should read something like https://canvas.instructure.com/courses/1234 that number 1234 would be the Canvas course ID. However, they may be asking for the course CRN number which is the code set up by the school and usually in the title of your Course like Math 101 ES 35 or something similar. If you need more assistance with getting the code, please reach out to your school helpdesk directly.

I think Canvas could easily fix this by: Moving the Submit button away from the navigation buttons (maybe above the question instead of below it) and/or Adding a "Confirm…
This is my first time using the new discussion "checkpoints". I'm hoping the multiple due dates are effective, but using the "checkpoints" does seem to create other problems: They only allow for ONE "reply to topic". The way I use discussions in some of my classes is to allow for students to ask MULTIPLE questions per…
