I want to order discussions according to when they are due during the semester, not by how often they are responded to. How do I set a specific order?

If you're the teacher, on the discussions page, you can drag your discussions up to the Pinned area. When the discussions are placed there, they will always appear in the order you have them arranged in.

Canvas needs the same Speedgrader tools available for Canvas Discussions. Highlighting, point annotation, text comments, strikethrough, area annotations, etc. This would make instructor feedback easier.
