My class (CS234) shows in canvas but when I click on the link, it opens as blank in everything (module, assignments, ect.)

If you are not seeing any content in your course, it may mean that your instructor has not published and made content available yet. I would recommend messaging your instructor via the Canvas Inbox to ask. Here is a guide on how to do so!
