Since the new "live Class" link went to effect I have not been able to log in to class zoom meetings , I read the article and try doing all the suggested things to make it work and still nothing.

This sounds like something to bring up to your teacher or school (likely someone in the eLearning / IT / Digital Education areas). I'm not aware of any changes that have been made to Zoom on a global level, and "live class" is not typical zoom terminology. We in the Canvas community can answer some general questions about Canvas, and sometimes related things like Zoom, but I don't think we'll be able to help much here.
