So, we wouldn't be able to help with the PowerPoint issues you are having. I highly suggest reaching out directly to your instructor(s) to inquire about this. The fact that the teacher's gradebook view only displays the letter grade in the "override" column makes it difficult for the teacher to review grades, as the numerical grade entered cannot be determined in that view.
Screen readers seem to read out the LaTex and not the equation.
Whenever possible, I prefer to have my students take in-class quizzes and tests on their laptops.
