Generic Comment when Re-Uploading Student Submissions

Question

Has anyone figured out if there is a way to change the generic comment that is posted when you use the Re-Upload Submissions feature to re-upload multiple students's work at a time? I would love to be able to change this to be something other than "See attached file".

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with customizing the default messages displayed to students. The short answer is - not really. This messages applies to all students upon resubmission and while you certainly could change the text that is displayed for them, this would require some custom work on the back end changing the HTML. It is an option,  but you'll  want to  speak with your school or institution directly to ask about making the custom change for your classes. I know it may not be the answer you were looking for, but hopefully it provides some clarity.
