New Analytics Data

Will student activity performed on the Canvas Student App be recorded in the New Analytics Data?

I have a member of our lecturing staff who has witnessed a student participating in a Quiz ,on the Student App, but no record of this participation is recorded in the New Analytics.
Wondering if this is expected behaviour or an error?

Suggestion: Peer Review + Lockdown Browser
Suggestion: IB and AP are moving to all digital. Currently, if we want peer reviews for in class essays, we have to use the assignment feature. Could we use the quizzes feature so we can use the lockdown browser AND also assign peer reviews? This would help support the integrity of the timed essay.
