i am new to canvas and online learning. the course work for my class is in pdf form. our quizzes are open "book". How do i use canvas to search for my key words in order to answer the questions? thanks
My suggestion is that you read the entire PDF. Just searching for key words to answer questions is a really lazy way to study.
The more you invest in your learning, the more you will learn.

IN addition to what @SusanNiemeyer mentioned, you can teach yourself how to do what you want by using an internet search on how to find things in a pdf file.
By the way, I remember when the city schools here decided to give every student a chrome book so that they could all have pdf versions of their text books. The son of someone I know was doing his homework and his mom asked what he was doing - the response "Just searching for the answer in the pdf - I don't want to read the rest of it". I understand that philosophy and it is something I would have probably done as well. However, you may be short changing your education and learning techniques.

Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
We have recently encountered an issue where two students were unable to see the "Take the Quiz" button. These students were taking different exams for different courses within our Testing Center. Both exams required Respondus LockDown Browser and were restricted to specific IP addresses. In both cases, the students were…

However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
