I have a few assignments in which I have embedded Panopko videos that I want to remove so I can re-do the video and embed in the same assignment. How do I remove a video in Canvas?
Hello @CaroleSorrenti ...
Full disclosure... I have never used Panopko videos before, so I have no idea what that interface looks like or how it works. When editing your page, are you able to place your cursor at the right side of the video and just hit your "Backspace" button on your keyboard to remove it from the page? Alternatively, could you go into the HTML view of the page, find the related Panopko code, remove the code, and then save the page? You could then insert/embed a new version of the video at any time.
Again, not knowing much about the Panopko interface, I'm not sure if any of the above would be helpful or not, but I thought I'd provide my $0.02...for what it's worth.
I'm trying to figure out whether Canvas Portfolio will work for me this year with my 11th graders. We are introducing a curriculum that has a portfolio component but does not specify the platform. I would like to try Evaluation Portfolios but am confused by the information in the guides. The Guide for Portfolio says Once…
I am setting up my courses for this year and I realized that when I opend the mastery-based gradebook, there is no color coding. When I open last years's course that had color-coding last time I opened it in the spring, it no longer has colors. The colors appear in the individual student view, but not in the all class view.
Hoping someone can explain for me. We're using pacing to avoid manually dating regular assignments each quarter, but the dates I see are based on when the course was instantiated, while students see dates based on when they were added to the course by [backend software I don't know anything about, presumably]. If I set…
Has anyone else had issues with an influx of duplicate users in Canvas? Ours is currently in the form of an email that already exists, becoming a new user - and not automatically merging with the user ID with the same email that also is linked to our SIS ID correctly as well. For example, user 1 is xyz@gmail.com without a…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
