Lockdown won't accept Canvas New Quizzes

I am a longtime Lockdown Browser user and Canvas user, never any problems (interpret this as "I think I know what I'm doing).  Right now, when I try to put any quiz made using Canvas's "New Quiz" format into Lockdown Browser, I just get the "please wait" notice that never ends. This has not happened before; I've previously used Lockdown for these quizzes. I've had my school district technology expert check on this and I still have no suggestions.

I'd really love to put my final exam into Lockdown Browser! Any suggestions?

You have New Quizzes then enabled on  your course and can access them fine, you just can't integrate it  with Lockdown Browser? That is odd as Lockdown and NQ are certainly compatible. Can you provide us with more specifics of how you set up the quiz and how you are  trying to get it work with Lockdown Browser? Have you tried  clearing your cache  and cookies, a different browser or device, uninstalling and then reinstalling lockdown browser? Did you IT department get back to you at all?
