Unfortunately, Canvas Community members do not have access to your school's Canvas environment or your course(s) that you are taking. So, we cannot see what your assignment looks like or what your instructor is requiring of you in order to submit work. I would highly recommend that you contact your instructor directly in Canvas so that he/she can do more investigation. It may be that your instructor has incorrectly set up the assignment so that it is not yet allowing for students to submit work. That would be a setting your instructor needs to check, though.
