I changed my attendance to be ungraded, but still want to see how many days each student has missed. The attendance report is unwieldy. Anyone know an easy way to see # of absences per student in Canvas?

I teach remote synchronous classes, and I'm "old school." I mark attendance on a paper ledger.
I find the Attendance tool on Canvas completely unhelpful. For example, one of my classes meets just once a week. It's not at all helpful to see "attendance" for the other six days of the week.
Sorry not to be of more help, but personally, I would just ditch Attendance.
