Are you saying that you are having difficulties uploading a DOC or DOCX file to your assignment in your Canvas course? If that is the case, can you share a screenshot of the assignment where your instructor has indicated the file types that are acceptable? We might be able to determine if your instructor has specified the file types correctly or not.
