I have just downloaded Canvas Teacher, and I am puzzled -- there is no section for grades. In my web version "Grades" is in between "Discussions" and "People." I don't see it at all in the iPad app.

That's correct. The iOS app does not have a "Grades" page like you are used to seeing when viewing you Canvas course(s) on your computer. You can grade student submissions in the iOS app via "Assignments". Here are a few Guides for you to look at:

When you are creating a quiz and/or also reviewing a quiz in Canvas after the class has taken it, the questions aren't numbered so after you get past the first few questions, there is no way to even tell what number you are on. Can someone change that?
