I know how to email the student an invite but I do not know how to add the student to the course before I send the invite. How do I add new students to a course for the first time?

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you. We hope you are doing well and that you’ve found an answer to your question!
Usually schools/institutions will enroll students into via automated mechanisms. If you need to enroll students on your own, you can follow the How do I add users to a course? - Instructure Community guide, keeping in mind that if your institution does do automated enrollment, you may not have access to do manual enrollments at all.
