Canvas Update

I have been off for a semester and noticed that my Canvas screen looks different than the tutorials. I do not see the "Group" option on my sidebar. Is there something I need to do to get this option or does that only appear when a professor enables it?

Hi @AmyEllgard ...

You would only see the "Groups" button on the far left-hand side global navigation bar of Canvas if you had been added to one or more groups in your Canvas course(s).  See the information in the light-blue box at the top of this Guide:
