I do have a FREE version of the Canvas Account. Neither of us can figure out why I can't access the course. Any ideas?

Did the teacher enroll you in the course and did you set up an account using the same email the teacher used to enroll you? The Free For Teachers courses do need people to be enrolled since the courses can't be made public. You might ask the teacher to re-extend the invitation. Within the course, go to the Peoples tab in the menu and click the kabob icon (three dots) to the far right of your name and choose Resend Invitation.
