Highest Score Drop

Hi,

I have created an assignment group in which I have created a rule to drop the highest score. Below are the details of marks.

Assignment 1                           Assignment 2

Max Marks: 100                      Max Marks: 24

Obtain Marks: 65%                Obtain Marks: 50%

But Canvas drops the 50% marks assignment instead of 65% marks assignment, however the highest is 65%.

 

Please help me out of this calculation of canvas.

That makes no sense on two counts.  One is the percentage 65% is greater than 50%, so dropping the highest should be the 65%.  The other way is that 65% of 100 is 65 points and 50% of 24 is 12 points.  So once again the 65 should be dropped.

Are those the only 2 assignments in the group?

And just to be sure.  It is drop the Highest grade that is selected and not drop the lowest?

if it is drop the highest, then something is messed up.
