Hi Canvas LMS, I am unable to find the Discussion Board on my canvas as an online student. Maybe this feature does not exist anymore, seeing that the canvas looks different in many of these canvas tutorials? Kind Regards, David
I am a student at a community college. For one of my courses, our professor requires students to upload short (minimum 2 minutes) videos in reponse to a discussion question. I usually record the video on my iPad or iPhone, and they are often 4-5 minutes long, and around 250-390 Mb in size. These are stored in the device as…
Hi Does anyone know of a way my university can enroll outside people in a course with student access? They do not have university ID's and are not currently students. The reason they need access is to test their skills and knowledge so they can then enrol in the correct level course for them. So the guest access is not…
It appears Canvas has made changes to what javascript is allowed to do. I used to upload my files which consisted of practice lesson pages and answer pages. Students could then select radio buttons for each numbered question and, when done, could click a "Score Analysis" button and/or "View Correct Answers" button and see…

See this previous post where the idea was proposed, voted on, and approved. See the release notes from Feb 2, 2017 where the feature was deployed. Now I can't seem to find anything about it?
Returning after summer, I noticed SpeedGrader has changed. One can no longer see all PNG and JPG uploads a student made (oddly, they are now hidden under "Details", who would have thought?). And, even worse, there's no download button under "Details" to download the 2D, 3D and animation files students uploaded, so one…
I want to sure my Canvas course with other Teacher's in my grade level so they can see what we are doing. Having the Copy To function is super helpful if we want to utilize assignments the other teacher has made. However, you have to give a teacher editing permission in order to have the option to copy assignments. It has…
My LMS default language is my native language, but I am more comfortable with English(US) as my system language. But when I changed it and came back hours later, it switched back to my default language. This problem has repeated many times, and I can't seem to fix it.
Edited to add: The major issue actually is that it is flagging assignments as late, even if they earned 100% at the due date/time when the grade is passedback/updated after the due date. I have my Delta Math assignments set to "passback" the grade to Canvas at the due date/time. I believe new this year is that when Canvas…
