Hello, Has anyone else experienced the due dates in Canvas Course Assignments, Discussions, and/or Quizzes disappearing after students are enrolled in the course sections? If so, are there any settings in the course that may help prevent this from occurring? Thank you!
Hi Canvas Community, I’m wondering if Canvas could add a more granular permission setting for section management — specifically, a setting that would allow Canvas Administrators to grant Instructors the ability to de-cross-list their own courses (without having to give them full admin-level powers). In our K–12 school…
I have my grade book set up. But for some reason , why I go to the total points column, I do not see the total number of points
When assignments are assigned to individual students or even a small group of students out of the whole class, Canvas will not sync the assignment to PowerSchool until everyone has been assigned the item. Could this possibly be changed so that the individual assignments will sync to PowerSchool even when not everyone has…
When a student submits an assignment with the incorrect orientation, it is easy to rotate it. However, after rotating, the "T" button is unavailable. This was not always the case. Any thoughts on why this is or how I can change it back?
I had referenced Instructure's browser widget (https://community.canvaslms.com/html/assets/browser-widget.html) in my courses, as it provide a quick reference to the state of my student's browsing environment. This has disappeared. Has it just moved, or is it completely deprecated? Could it possibly be resurrected?
I was wondering if there was a way to allow students to take a quiz again after they have gotten all of the answers correct on Build on Last Attempt? I want to allow students to take the quiz again as a post lesson study aid and then as a review before the exam, but it seems like once you get the question right you can…
When the link to "Pages" is selected, it takes you to the home page and shows only the home page. You have to select the link "View All Pages" to actually see all pages. This is pretty stupid. The link to pages should show all pages not the home page first. Why should I have to make another selection when I want to always…
If an object in a module is a file—or even perhaps an attachment to something—then it would be far more convenient to be able to replace the file, say from the context menu. At the moment, I believe one has to delete the object, and then recreate it, and I think it ends up leaving an old copy of the file behind.
I couldn't find a place to report a bug after a fair bit of searching. Is there a better place to put this? If you have any idea, please let me know. Thanks in advance! Observed: Students in Attendance Roll Call do not appear in alphabetical order. Names that are in all caps or all lowercase are not alphabetized properly.…
