MathJax not rendering image

Question

All of my assignments on New Quizzes that were migrated over from old quizzes are not rendering the math equations from the LaTex code.  It is only showing up when I re-insert it as an equation and "image" on the HTML editor.  This is happening, at least, across my entire department.  Is this an issue everywhere and is there a way to quickly fix this?  Going through and re-entering every equation of every assignment would take a very long time.

From what it sounds like, it's related to the security breach last week.  Our school district's Canvas team said they do not have a solution yet

I am also running into this. All of my equations in my quizzes used to render fine, but none of them are working now. I can get equations to render fine in other places on Canvas, but not in my quizzes (I'm using New Quizzes). It would be awesome if there was a solution that didn't involve rewriting everything using the equation editor.

We have had a report of a similar issue. The LaTeX equations in New Quizzes are not rendering. The LaTeX code displays for students (and faculty). They will work if you use the Equation Editor to add the LaTeX, but as mentioned above, that will take a lot of time and effort to fix during finals week.
