After the current trial period for various IgniteAI features is over, will this still be a free Canvas feature or will it be a paid add-on product?

I really like this AI tool, and I’m also curious about what the costs will look like after June 2026. We’ve enabled Discussion Summaries for all instructors—not as an optional feature—so if the tool were to disappear or move behind a paid add‑on, it could create frustration, especially if our institution couldn’t cover the cost to continue access.

Between the two discussion‑related features, I see much more value in Discussion Summaries than in IgniteAI Insights for Discussions. Instructors should ideally be reading the discussion posts themselves, which makes the Insights feature feel somewhat redundant. The summaries, on the other hand, are more immediately actionable—they help instructors quickly synthesize class activity without replacing authentic engagement or the instructor’s own understanding of the conversation.
