“Unexpected error, please try again” message on all my devices

I have been getting this message on my iPad canvas app for a few months whenever I try to open a file. It seems like I’m the only one in my class as everyone is getting on fine. Files used to open fine on my phone and now my phone canvas app has stopped working. What does this mean? How can I get rid of it.

@Malaise - there was a known issue affecting HTML files uploaded to Canvas course files and embedded via iframes, particularly in the iOS Student and Teacher apps. This issue was resolved and deployed to the production environment as of June 18, 2025.

Have you looked into updating and also reinstalling the Canvas app?

Outcomes not working
Our "Outcomes" has not been working for about 6 months. Teachers can't build and attach Outcomes to new quizzes. Canvas said it was a rollover issue. Canvas won't fix it unless we pay them $2000 to "re-train" us for 10 hours. Has anyone had this problem and did it get fixed?
