I was looking for a tool that lets me see all discussion posts made by one student throughout a term but I couldn't find a discussion post aggregator tool. Is there a way to do that? (I tried checking in Settings; also tried using People to see if I could get to posts under a student name. No luck.)

There isn’t a built-in tool for this, but you can create your own and pull the data using either the Canvas API or GraphiQL

Below is an example GraphiQL query you can use to retrieve the data. You can test it using your school’s GraphiQL endpoint (Accessible to any logged in users):

You can find the course ID in the course URL:
yourschool.instructure.com/courses/12345

Similarly, the user ID can be found in the user URL (Viewing a user profile):
yourschool.instructure.com/courses/12345/users/778899

Please note: due to pagination, this query will only return the first 100 discussion topics. If you have more than 100, you’ll need to write a script to paginate and retrieve the rest.
