pause/continue recording button in the video replies in Speed Grader

Hello,

In Speed Grader, I love the ability to add a quick instructional video showing students how to fix items in a submission so they can redo their work for better understanding and marks.  Thank you for that!  My idea:  PLEASE put a "Pause" and "Continue" recording button in this area.  Sometimes we need to pause during recording, (almost done and I have to sneeze, etc. for example), and I have to start the recording all over again.  A pause/continue recording button would be the bomb.  Thank you!

Hi @BrianVanderHeul ...

This sounds like you would like additional capabilities added to the SpeedGrader in Canvas.  I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but there is a separate space here in the Canvas Community site to submit your ideas for consideration.  However, the ideas process is undergoing some changes at the moment, and I'm not exactly sure when the new process will be put in place.  That shouldn't stop you from submitting your idea, though.

I see your current status is "Community Novice".  This means you'll need to do a few more simple things to "rank up" (kind of like leveling up in games) here in the Community so that you can submit your idea.  Check out these Guides:

Once you do these things, you'll want to read through these Guides on how the idea process works:
