Is it possible to "pause" the monthly refresh of the test environment?

We are in the early stages of exploring Canvas LMS and see that the test environment refreshes to mimic the production environment on a monthly basis. Has anyone explored the possibility of pausing the monthly refresh in the situation that an extensive test case was being explored?

I don't think you can just pause the refresh from the test environment, as it's intended to update every month with updates from Instructure. You should reach out to your CSM directly for more information.
