Teacher does not have access to teacher site/content

Question

Hi. My name is Jade Champagne. Ms. Wells is allowing me to message through her portal. I am the CTE Instructional Coach for LPSD and we are experiencing a few issues and have additional questions. We have reached out to our contact for our District (several phone calls, emails, and messages through Canvas) and have not had a reply. Meanwhile, we have a teacher-- who has finished his training-- but does not have access to the teacher site. Again, this is only one issue, but as of now, it is the most pressing. I need to make sure that we are not missing a step on our part. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @BrittneeyWells and Jade, it sounds like your Canvas admin or school administrators have not yet created a Canvas account for this newly trained instructor, or enrolled him in the course if "teacher site" is a Canvas course.  Only your school can handle creating accounts and enrolling teachers. You'll need to contact whoever is in charge of your Canvas, or the training program, and ask them what more needs to be done.   Can you contact somebody, but not in Canvas, is there a phone number or email for someone at the school? Sounds like you've tried that but maybe you need to keep trying.

In Canvas, users only have access to courses in which they are enrolled, and of course they have to have a Canvas account too.
