License Usage for Self-enrollment or public course

Question

For our institution's canvas (with a short-term license) do self-enrolled users (joining by a QR code) count towards license seat usage, even if they are only in public or self-enrollment course and not a full private course? Also, do users who view content only, without enrollment, count at all?

Hi @Tsi_Meng,

Based on the wording that you have used, it sounds like you have a unique license/contract with Instructure for the Canvas LMS.

Because of that, I would recommend that you contact your Canvas CSM for guidance on what does and does not count towards your license seat usage.
